Gila River Indian Community The community is home for members of both the Akimel O’odham (Pima) and the Pee-Posh (Maricopa) tribes. These tribes own a very large, very flashy casino and fund their traditional community with the money from said casino. Many families live here and practice their classic belief systems. |
